Amazing Because It Is – The Almost
It gives me chills. A great mix of acoustic and passionate vocals. It’s oh so good!
Call to Arms – Angels & Airwaves
I was sad to hear Blink 182 was getting back together, because it meant this band was done. They are so much more talented than Blink. Such a unique sound to them.
Definitely more chillaxing.
Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades – Brand New
I am a very positive person, and these guys are way negative. But dang they are good! I love every song on every CD they have had. One of my all time favorite bands!
Carry Me Through – Dave Barnes
It has a very strong bluegrass/southern gospel feel to it, and Mr. Barnes has a fabulous voice. It just makes me happy.
Earthquake – Family Force 5
Go ahead. Try not to dance to it. My foot is tapping right now just thinking about it.
Evening Meets the Dawn – For All the Drifters
Might be one of my my all time favorite songs. It’s incredible. Kind of hard to describe.
Good Arms VS. Bad Arms – Frightened Rabbit
I just heard of this band this year. They are kind of a folky rock. I read that is was one of John Krasinski’s favorite bands, so naturally I checked it out.
It was just okay the first time I listened, but got better each time. Now I’m in love. With the song, not John. :
Black Balloon – Goo Goo Dolls
If I ever saw this performed live, I might cry. It’s another song that still gives me chills, even though I’ve listened to it over and over.
MFEO: Part 1. Made For Each Other, Part 2. You Can Breathe – Jack’s Mannequin
I’m more partial to You Can Breathe. He wails on the piano and you can’t help but feel the emotion. It’s Amazing.
Sunny Days – Jars of Clay
This is one of my ringtones. It will always drastically alter me into a better mood the second I hear it. I might have also told Ben he should play it at my funeral if I ever die before him. Yes, I know that’s weird.
Everything – Lifehouse
Emotional. Great build-up. I have a soft spot for Lifehouse.
You Never Let Go – Matt Redman
Almost brings tears to my eyes every time. Definitely one of my favorite worship songs... Ever!
Give It Away – Red Hot Chili Peppers
I have danced to this song dozens and dozens of times. It’s a great one!
All Hail The Heartbreaker – Spill Canvas
Every time the song ends, I get sad. I will learn how to play it on the guitar someday!
Liar (It Takes Two) – Taking Back Sunday
They blend the perfect amount of guitar, screaming, and pop. Props to them.
Hey Ya – Obadiah Parker
Another song that I just can’t help but smile too. I thought I’d be sick of it by now due to my excessive listening, but I’m not!
Plus, I like to make the people riding with me dance to the shake it part. :)
Hallelujah – Jeff Buckley & Wish You Were Here – Pink Floyd
If I produced a movie and got to help pick the soundtrack, these would be on it. Even if they didn’t make sense with the movie, I would throw them in just to evoke emotion.
Shake It – Metro Station
I don’t think I could sit still during this song even if my life depended on it. It reminds me of fun times with fu different people.
What a fantastic syrupy pop song!

Kings of Leon - Use Somebody (Such a great song from a very underappreciated band)
Pitbull - Hotel Room Service (Nobody who has ever gone to a great nightclub can honestly say that they've never felt the way Pitbull does in this song)
September - Cry for You (A great power dance record that didn't do near as well on the U.S. charts as it deserved to do)
Taylor Swift - Tim McGraw (Yes, a very juvenile record, in terms of content, but this song really got me hooked on her voice)
Eminem - Like Toy Soldiers (Eminem shows off his soft side, which most people didn't know existed)
3 Doors Down - Kryptonite (This is the only song that you will ever see me karaoke to, so it has to make the list)
Shinedown - Second Chance (My favorite song of 2009)
Jessica Simpson - Irresistible (Only because it was the first song I ever played on my own radio show)
Nelly - St Louie (Not a good song, by any means, but it always reminds me of home)
I love Taylor Swift... and that song. Her stuff is really catchy! Thanks for answering Colby.
