Need A Costume Idea?

Maybe I can help...

I love coming up with Halloween costumes... not sure why, but I do!

I have found a few clever, witty, or just plain awesome costumes to display.  Feel free to steal these peoples ideas. You are welcome to steal any of ours as well.

Here are our costumes the past 2 years. Thank you to my wonderful husband who will pretty much go along with anything. Even if it it means wearing a pair of Good Will tighty whiteys over your pants. (I washed them twice in hot water for the record.)

Enjoy.

2006: Gang Green.  Get it? A bit last minute, but it worked.

2007: Double Dare Contestant and Shaun from Shaun of the Dead

2008: Quailman from Doug and Orbit Gum Girl

And here are some others....

Smurfs

Pacman

Carebears

Globetrotters

Facebook.

Lego Guys

Ramen

Tetris

The Movie Poster

As a graphic designer, I love looking at what people come up with to be the face of a movie. Sometimes they are just crazy creative. Or Witty. Or Hilarious.

Here are (some of) my favorites due to their cleverness, design, or just their genus way of representing the movie.

[note: Liking the poster does not mean I like the movie. I'm looking at you Stepbrothers.]

Realization.

I just realized that a ton of my favorite celebrity photo shoots were done by Peggy Sirota! Who knew?!
Here are a few of hers that I love, that weren't posted in my previous list.

Only Appropriate.

Tonight they get married, AND I just did a blog post about photo shoots.  I had to post it!

Today We Salute You...Photo Shoots

I don't know about you, but I LOVE looking at the covers of magazines and their photo shoots inside! There is something about pretty people and photography that draws me in.  I sometimes go to Walgreens on my break just to look at the magazine rack. (well and to grab a diet coke) That is always the first place I go to at Barnes and Noble as well.  I just think that these magazines come up with some of the best photo shoot ideas.  Vanity Fair is probably one of my favorites.

Anyways, I was looking in my Web Finds Folder at some images that I have been saving.  I realized I was gaining quite the collection of celebrity photo shoot ads... so  I thought I would share them with you.  Enjoy.

These were all from a Hancock series.

I hate Angelina, but fun pic.

I would love to go out to dinner with this couple.
I think they would be a riot.
I love their faces in this Gap ad.

David Beckham as Prince Charming

Jessica Biel as Pocahontas

Giselle as Wendy, Mikhail Baryshnikov as Peter Pan,
andTina Fey as Tinker Bell

Dave Hill's HDR images.

Sorry, but I just love them! Thank you Vanity Fair.

Zach Braff is in some of my all-time favorites.

A majority of Brad Pitt's photos in Wired were pretty comical.

This one kills me. ha.  I love Kristen Wiig and Tina Fey!
Plus, Wiig's face here is priceless.

Jeremy Cowart also has some amazing/fun photoshoot idea.
The colors in this one are pefect.
